The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you photos of an object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
The design is also superior to the other models. It has a sleek, top piece that appears like an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.

In robot vacuum cleaners was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. budget robot vacuum did this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem which many robot vacuums can really fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it is done with relative ease. It also comes with an impressive LCD display that is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people but it can help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.
It's a tiny base station that looks stunning and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that do very well at picking up debris on plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does everything.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive, but offers more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock near a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move, however.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to draw a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it started.
The sleek G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
